Things to keep in mind while booking Safaris at Tadoba
- The core safari zones are spread far apart from each other, avoid booking two different core zones on a single day but you can go for different gates for the same zone during morning and afternoon safaris. Booking a close buffer zone gate is also an option.
- Cell phones are not permitted to be taken on safari inside the reserve.
- Tatkal (last minute) bookings can be made three days in advance.
- It is not possible to cover all gates. Most of the forest is accessible from all the entry gates but travel time will vary from entry gate to a particular point. For example It will take around 45 mins to reach Panderpauni from Moharli gate but you can reach Panderpauni within 10 minutes from Kolara gate. So don't underestimate the duration to cover these distances.
